1.Why the Giclee?

The Giclee process has changed art reproduction forever because, unlike other printing techniques, Iris inks blend into paper of canvas surfaces. This produces a seamless, continuous- tone surface. Painters, photographers, collectors and even museum curators have recognized the superb quality of Iris printing in reproducing fine artwork for sale or display. The colors can be brilliant and is superior to other methods of reproduction.

2.How long do Giclee last?

Giclee have undergone extensive testing by Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc a leading authority on the care and preservation of prints, photographs, and films.
Wilhelm’s testing, has shown that under standard conditions, a giclee can last as long as 130 years before noticeable fading begins. It is important to note that all colors fade.
